AlNassiriya, one of the oldest neighbourhoods in Sharjah, has a strategic location, where the neighbourhood is situated between Dubai and Ajman, and the Khalid port is a few blocks away from the northern region. Despite its social and physical challenges, the neighbourhood is hopeful for a better future. The plan document was produced to showcase the current conditions and future recommendations to revive the neighbourhood into a sustainable one. The document is divided into two sections – strategic analysis and plan components.

Lastly, where we want to be, is a section showing a vision to make Al-Nassiriya a sustainable neighbourhood. In hope of advancing and improving the environment, the social and economic value of the neighbourhood. In order to achieve the vision, characteristics of a sustainable neighbourhood are implemented to achieve a sustainable Nassiriya.
