The world doesn’t shed enough light on pollution, whether it may be water pollution, soil pollution or air pollution. Many consider pollution as an environmental issue, however not many believe pollution as a measure of health issues. It kills more people in war than hunger than malaria or AIDs or even tuberculosis. In 2015, diseases caused by pollution were responsible for 9 million deaths and 92% of deaths originated from low and middle-income countries. This is due to the issue of lack of equal distribution of the problems in the world, which is disgracefully unfair. (The Lancet Commission on pollution and health, 2018)
